8U - Cost is $135 if you pay by check or Venmo.  If you pay on the site with Credit Card you'll be paying $140.37 to cover the CC Fees.  

For All other divisions: Cost is $215 if you by check or Venmo.  If you pay on the site with Credit Card you'll be paying $222.76 to cover the CC Fees.

Mandetory Team Form:

Every week in March and April, we will go through all the teams that are signed up and send you a form that is required by April 24th.  This form will include schedule information and gold/silver information and more.  

All Teams will be asked about field availability for home games.  We have many of the teams information from last year, if that has not changed you can say no changes.  If there are changes or we don't have your information then please let us know what fields that are available to schedule your home games.  

12U and 14U you'll be given a chance to declare for Gold or Silver via this form.

12U and 14U you will choose which day or days you want to play via this form.

We'll send the form to the coach of the team and the email(s) we have for that community.  

TOURNAMENT

As indicated on the flyer, the tournament this year will be a single day for everyone.  It is also 2 Games Guaranteed.  The exact format will depend on the number of teams and fields and umpires available to us.  More information will be out early July.

For ages 8U, 10U, and 12U, the Hoffman Rule will be mandatory for both games of the doubleheader. For ages 14U, 16U, and 18U, the Hoffman Rule will be optional for the first game of the double header and mandatory for the second game. Decision on lineup is to be communicated with both the opposing coach and home plate umpire during the pregame meeting.

Our league spans across southeast Minnesota, offering a diverse and exciting softball experience. As part of our commitment to providing competitive opportunities for all teams, we want to transparently share our expectations regarding travel for away games.

Travel Expectations:

The geographical center of our league resides near Byron or Rochester. Teams situated farther from this central point will average more travel.  However, all teams occasionally will travel longer distances at least once —typically between 60-75 miles—for away games. While these instances are infrequent, they're essential for maintaining the league's balance and ensuring every team has the chance to participate.

Shared Travel Responsibility:

We strive to distribute longer travel commitments evenly throughout the summer season, minimizing the impact on any single team. Our aim is to create a fair and balanced schedule for all participating communities.

Community Support:

We greatly appreciate the understanding and support of all the communities involved in the SFC League. It's crucial that players and families are aware of and embrace these travel expectations as we work together to foster a thriving softball environment.

Division Information

8U:  

• Game Nights: Tuesday OR Thursday (1 a week)

10U:  This is a SE (local) Minnesota league.  It is an instructional league with the emphasis on softball fundamentals and participation. 

• Game Nights: Wednesday

12U:  This is a SE (local) Minnesota traveling league.  We offer a Silver division for those players still developing and a gold division for those players that require a bit more competition.

• Game Nights:  Tuesday or Thursday or Tuesday & Thursday

14U: This is a SE Minnesota traveling league.  As age increases, so does the competition, so you will get your chance to try your skills against some better softball players. 

• Game Nights: Monday or Wednesday or Monday & Wednesday

High School: This is a SE Minnesota traveling league. Most of the players in these age brackets are people you have played with or against in the high school softball leagues.
